XO Sauce Shrimp Roe and Candied Walnut Beef Bites

What You Will Need

  • Beef tenderloin or ribeye 400g (cut into approximately 1-inch cubes)
  • Candied walnuts 50g
  • Asparagus 90g (peeled and cut into segments)
  • Red bell pepper 25g (cut into chunks)
  • Roasted shrimp roe 1 tbsp
  • Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce 1 ½ tbsp

How to make it

 

  1. Mix the beef with the marinade and marinate for 15 minutes.

  2. Heat a wok with oil, and stir-fry the beef over medium-high heat until 70% cooked and golden brown on the surface.

  3. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar, stir-fry until well combined. Add the asparagus and red bell pepper and stir-fry until fragrant.

  4. Add the XO sauce, shrimp roe, and walnuts, stir-fry quickly until cooked through. Ready to serve.

  5. Add extra XO sauce to taste, if desired.
